... Nicolas is located in a very historical building. Outside our front door, there are two historical markers, see below. Nicolas, and the next-door building, were the original chapel and the entrance to the San Juan de Dios hospital, founded by Francisco Marroquín. This is a very interesting story. The Terrace at Nicolas is a private outdoor
space that can seat two to 15 people. The view from the
terrace is beautiful; you can see the lights of Antigua, the
cathedral, the moon and stars and all of Antigua`s
volcanoes. We can create the best ambiance for your event. Our special touches can include candles, balloons, petal paths, fresh flowers, and also clay brazier with hot coals, for a cool evening, ambient music, or any other detail you would like to request.
